Sweet Water Prawns

Ingredients

  • 2 kg sweet water prawns or large prawns with head on (optional)

  • ¾ cup butter (melted) 

  • ¾ cup oil 

  • 3 tbsp red chilli powder 

  • ¼ cup chopped parsley 

  • ½ cup chopped garlic 

  • 3 tbsp chilli flakes (or more to taste) 

  • Salt and pepper to taste 

Preparation

  1. In a large bowl, mix together butter, oil, red chilli powder, parsley, chilli flakes, garlic, salt and pepper 

  2. Line a baking dish with foil or grease with oil. 

  3. Dip the prawns in the oil mixture and lime them on the baking sheet giving them enough space apart (I kept them too close so the cooking time was off) 

  4. Bake them in the oven on high heat (200 +) for 5-7 mins on each side. (Flip them once they start to change color) 

  5. Enjoy!
