Sticky Honey Chicken

Ingredients
Marinade
500 g boneless chicken (cut into bit sized pieces)
1 egg white
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon pepper
1 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp ginger paste
1 tbsp garlic paste
Batter
6 tbsp flour
6 tbsp corn flour
2 ½ tsp baking powder
1 tsp salt
½-¾ cup ICE cold water
Oil for frying
Sauce
2-3 tbsp sesame seeds
½ cup honey
3-4 tbsp soy sauce
2-3 tbsp chili oil
1 tbsp sesame oil
Pinch of yellow food coloring
Remove the chicken and set on a paper tower to drain the excess oil.
In a large wok, heat up 3 tbsp cooking oil.
Add the sesame seeds and let them fry.
Add the honey sauce mixture and cook it on low heat.
Add the chicken and make sure all the chicken is coated well with the sauce.
Add 1 tbsp of sesame oil
Garnish with spring onions and serve with jasmine rice.

Preparation
Marinade the chicken with all the listed ingredients and set aside.
Make the sauce for the chicken by mixing together honey, soy sauce, chili oil and food coloring.
Heat up oil on medium heat in a wok to fry the chicken.
For the batter, mix the flour, corn flour, baking powder and salt.
Slowly add in iced cold water and mix well till a thick consistency is formed.
Coat the marinated chicken in the batter and fry the chicken till golden brown and crispy.
