Serves 2 people
Ingredients
1.5 cup cooked rice
250 grams beef (thinly sliced)
½ cup canned corn
½ cup green onion (finely sliced)
½ medium onion (roughly chopped)
2 cloves garlic (minced)
1 tbsp butter
1 tbsp oil
Pepper to taste
Sauce
2 tbsp soy sauce
1.5 tbsp maple syrup
1 tbsp water
1 tsp oil
3 cloves garlic
Preparation
Start by mixing all the sauce ingredients in a bowl and set it aside.
Heat up a cast iron pan with oil and then add the onions.
Once softened, add the garlic and then add the beef on the edge of the pan.
Add the corn on top of the beef and then add the rice in the center of the pan.
Add the butter on top of the rice, then top it off with the sauce and the green onions.
Sprinkle a generous amount of black pepper and then gently mix everything together until well combined.
Garnish with more green onions and serve.
