Pan Fried Lemon Dijon Salmon

Ingredients

  • 2 salmon filets 

  • 4-6 cloves garlic (finely chopped) 

  • ¼ cup lemon juice 

  • 2 tbsp olive oil 

  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard

  • Salt to taste 

  • Chilli flakes to taste

  • ¼ teaspoon mixed herbs or fresh parsley 

Preparation

  1. Whisk together the lemon juice, mustard, garlic, salt, pepper, chili flakes in a bowl and set aside. 

  2. Pat down the salmon with a paper towel and sprinkle some sea salt. 

  3. Heat up a frying pan with some olive oil and butter and place the salmon skin side down. 

  4. Pour some of the sauce on top of the salmon. 

  5. Cook the salmon for 4-6 minutes and flip and cook for another 3 mins (depending on the the thickness) 

  6. Add some more sauce on the other side of the salmon as well. 

  7. When it’s done cooking, add to a plate and pour some more of the sauce on top. 

  8. Sprinkle it with parsley and a lemon slice and enjoy.
