Miso Glazed Salmon

Ingredients

  • 2 salmon fillets

  • 1 tbsp miso paste

  • ½ tbsp non-alcoholic mirin or rice vinegar

  • 1 tbsp soy sauce

  • ¼ tsp sesame oil

  • Spring onions and sesame seeds for garnish

Preparation

  1. In a bowl, mix together the soy sauce, miso paste, mirin, and sesame oil until well combined. 

  2. Grease a baking dish and place the salmon fillets.

  3. Pat them dry with a paper towel.

  4. Brush the miso mixture all over the salmon, cover and let marinate in the fridge for about 30 minutes. 

  5. Using a paper towel slightly remove the marinade, don’t wash it off  (miso burns really fast).

  6. Heat your oven to 200 and bake the salmon for 10-15 mins (depending on size)

  7. Serve with jasmine rice and garnish with sesame seeds and spring onions.

  8. Enjoy!!
