Tips

  • It is best to use good quality beef in order to get the best tasting results! 

  • Make rolls with the leftover meat!

  • Serve with french fries, pilao or paratha. 



Ingredients

  • 800 g filet beef (cut into 1 inch cubes) 

  • 2 heaping tsp garlic paste 

  • 2 heaping tsp ginger paste

  • 2 tbsp vinegar 

  • 2 heaping tsp red chilli powder 

  • 1 heaping tsp salt 

  • 4 tbsp oil

  • 4 tbsp melted butter 

  • Pinch of garam masala powder 

  • Heated ghee

Preparation

In a large bowl add the beef, garlic, ginger, vinegar, chilli powder, salt, oil, butter and garam masala. Mix well and massage the masala into the meat. Cover and refrigerate for a minimum of  4 hours or overnight. When you are ready to cook add a little bit of oil and mix. Put them on skewers and bbq for 5-7 mins on each side. When it’s almost ready, keep some heated ghee and brush the meat to add some shine. Serve with some imli ki chutney (tamarind chutney).
