Ingredients
Salmon
4 salmon steaks with skin
Salt to taste
Salmon Glaze
½ cup soy sauce
½ cup honey
¼ cup rice vinegar
2 tbsp sesame oil
2 tbsp sriracha
¼ cup fresh ginger (chopped)
2-3 tbsp minced garlic
2 jalapeños or red chillies finely chopped
Bowl
2 sliced avocado
Sautéed veggies of choice (I used bok choy and broccolini, tossed in garlic olive oil and soy sauce)
White or brown rice
Spring onions
Sesame seeds
While the salmon is cooking, cook the glaze on medium heat till bubbly and slightly thickened.
Cook your rice and veggies so they are prepared to assemble the bowl.
To assemble the bowl, add your rice, cooked salmon, avocado and veggies.
Brush the sauce over the salmon until it is coated well.
Garnish the bowl with spring onions and sesame seeds.
Enjoy!
Preparation
Season the salmon on both sides with salt and set aside.
For the glaze, mix the soy sauce, honey, sriracha, chilly, garlic, ginger, sesame oil, and rice vinegar.
Heat up a pan with some oil and cook the salmon skin side down. Flip when the skin is crispy.
Cook the other side till it’s cooked through and set aside.
